Do you feel like you’re always running on auto pilot. Day in and day out it’s the same routine. Sure, routines help us organize our lives but coasting through life without working our brains at all is what ultimately leads to depression. There are parts of the brain that stop being active when we do the same things every single day. This throws the brain out of balance by keeping them too active or not active enough. You can easily change your routine by taking a different route to work or doing a different type of exercise. Don’t confine yourself.
