Your skin is the largest organ so naturally, it weighs more than your brain. In fact, it weighs twice as much as the brain and more than any other organ. The skin consists of three layers, the epidermis, the dermis, and the subcutaneous layer. The average adult’s skin weighs about 20 pounds and covers approximately 22 feet.
