Research shows that although the male brain is about 6-10 percent larger than the female brain, females use their brain more efficiently. Researchers studied the hippocampus, the region responsible for memory and emotional function, and found that the region is larger in male brain. This discovery is the reason why men are allegedly more intelligent. Researchers also found that the smaller the hippocampus was in women, the smarter the woman would be. This finding lead researchers o believe that women use their brains more efficiently.
