Everyone has experienced anxiety at some point. When your palm gets sweaty before a speech or when the butterflies in your stomach start to flutter. Anxiety is necessary for our survival, the problem is when you feel those butterflies incessantly. If you are attempting to console someone who is having anxiety, recall an experience you personally had and recognize that they are feeling that same thing, only constantly.
