4 – Pediophobia

fear of dolls

Pediophobia is the fear of all dolls. Robots, mannequins, baby dolls, pretty dolls, scary dolls… This fear I believe can be attributed to the Child’s Play movies or the creepy clown in the first Poltergeist film. Pediophobia does not strictly affect children, many adults have been known to run in fear at the sight of a porcelain doll.
