The National Adult Spelling Bee is held annually in Long Beach California and was started in 2006 by Justin Rudd.  You must be 16 years old and up to enter for a chance to win $1,000 dollars and the chance to show that you are a supreme speller. The 2014 champion is Bernetta Gresko who correctly spelled “phalanx” in the 16th round.
