Poor sleep can seriously compromise your immune system. Several studies have revealed that out T-cell count goes down when we are sleep deprived. These studies also showed that people who sleep poorly  are less responsive to vaccines. Research has also found that people who do not get good sleep are more likely to die from heart disease because the less sleep you get, the more c-reactive proteins there are in your body, causing inflammation around the heart.
