Some people find it a challenge remembering fine details but a bunch of geniuses have shown it is possible to commit a lot to memory.
Competing for the World Memory Champion title in China, participants had to memorise 30 packs of playing cards in an hour, put over 90 faces to names in fifteen minutes and memorise a pack of playing cards in 30 seconds.
This year’s champion, Wang Feng, showed off the power of his mind after successfully recalling 300 out of 400 spoken words.
‘I have spent three months preparing for this championship. And each day I spend five to six hours practicing. Actually, each year, I spend two to three months to prepare for competitions,’ said Feng
Competitors from 20 countries took part in the competition with many of them having to win national heats to take part in the world finals.
