Mageirocophobia, or fear of cooking, is very common and manifests in many forms. Some people are only afraid to cook for large groups, some are afraid they will cause illness, and other become more concerned with the presentation. Most people are able to cope with their form of mageirocophobia by simply avoiding the element of cooking that terrifies them. If the condition becomes unbearable the person can become depressed and develop more anxiety issues.
